SEPTEMBER
Tuesday, September 17th General elections in Israel Sunday, September 29th - Tuesday, October 1st Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year)
OCTOBER
Tuesday, October 8th - Wednesday, October 9th Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). The holiest day of the year for the Jews. Jews traditionally observe this day with a 25-hour period of fasting and prayer. Transportation and stores are closed on these days.
Sunday, October 13th - Saturday, October 19th Sukkot (Jewish Festival of Booths)
Sunday, October 20th - Monday, October 21st Simchat Torah (celebration marking the conclusion of the annual cycle of public Torah readings).
DECEMBER
Tuesday, December 17th National Volunteer coordinators Conference
In all other days our office will be opened as usual from Sunday to Thursday 0830 – 1430. (On Friday’s the office is closed)
